Under the contract, Vestas will deliver 26 units of the V100-1.8MW turbine for the wind power project.
The contract also includes commissioning the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a ten-year service and maintenance agreement.
Vestas intends to commence delivery of the wind turbines in the third quarter of this year.
Upon completion, the Vandiya wind facility will save the environment from almost 130,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, compared to the Indian electricity generation mix.
