Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has won an order from Hebei Construction Investment New Energy (HCINEC) to supply turbines with a total capacity of 50MW for the Daqinghe Yanchang wind farm in China.

The company will supply and install 25 units of the V90-2MW turbine at the wind farm located in Laoting County, Hebei province.

The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution as well as a service and maintenance agreement.

The wind turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

Vestas and HCINEC initiated their collaboration in 2008, and according to Vestas, this new order brings the total accumulated wind energy capacity signed between the parties to approximately 150MW.
