Mr Herron joined VeraSun as senior vice president and CFO in March 2006. Previously he was executive vice president and CFO of Swift & Company, a Greeley, Colo, processor of fresh beef and pork products. Prior to that, He was vice president and senior financial officer at Conagra Beef Company and held senior-level positions with Borden Foods Company and Frito-Lay.
Mr Endres said: Danny has provided significant leadership in financing the growth of VeraSun, while simultaneously providing fiscal oversight for our day-to-day operations. I am confident that Danny will make even larger contributions as he assumes greater responsibility in this expanded leadership role.
