The company can now extract new resource areas with a larger mine permit and aquifer exemption.
The Palangana mine area has been increased from 6,200 acres to 8,722 acres, and now includes Production Area-4 (PA-4).
To date, 296 drill holes have been finished inside PA-4, and they suggest three mineralized trends.
Uranium Energy is finalizing wellfield in order to install the initial module inside the new production area.
The company has also secured disposal well draft permits for its Burke Hollow ISR project, also in Texas.
Apart from Texas project, Uranium Energy controls a pipeline of advanced-stage projects in Arizona, Colorado and Paraguay.
Uranium Energy president and CEO Amir Adnani said: "UEC is well positioned for ongoing expansion of uranium throughput at our centralized Hobson processing plant when full-scale production resumes.
"With the Burke Hollow Project making significant resource and permitting progress, there’s a substantial pipeline developing to support our hub-and-spoke growth plans."
