DTE Energy’s Technologies subsidiary has signed an agreement with Turbo Genset of the UK that will see the companies jointly develop a 400 kWe generator that will be powered with a Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp turbine. The mini-turbine system will be aimed at small distributed power applications. The gas powered units are expected to be commercially available in early 2002.
