The Santiago hub will serve Trina’s customers in Chile, Mexico, Brazil and other neighboring countries.
Trina Solar Americas president Mark Mendenhall remarked that the Latin American solar market was now primed for rapid growth and expansion.

The expansion into Chile on heels of similar expansion into Canada in July 2012 gives the company a greater reach over the solar market in North and South Americas.
