Trina Solar said that it is an investor in and the sole project developer for these projects, which are located in Cornwall and Dorset.

Construction of the two projects started in December 2013 and were completed on schedule in March 2014.

The PV projects were equipped with Trina PC05A 255Wp modules and expected to produce 24,673 MWh of electricity each year.

The projects will be able to provide energy to around 7,477 local homes annually.

Trina Solar chairman and CEO Jifan Gao said, "Along with the growth potential in the UK market, Europe remains a major market for Trina Solar, both in terms of modules and downstream projects.

"We will continue to build our project pipeline in UK in the quarters ahead as we execute our global downstream strategy."
