US ATM network operator TransFund has come to an agreement to introduce its ATMs into a further 40 petrol stations and convenience stores operated by QuikTrip, one of the largest gasoline and convenience store operators in the US.
This expansion will provide QuikTrip clientele in the greater Dallas/Ft Worth area with the ATM service from November 2006. It also will provide customers with TransFund Totally Free ATMs, a unique program that provides free ATM service to clientele whose financial institution is a member of TransFund.
QuikTrip is very excited about having TransFund Totally Free ATMs installed in our Texas stores, said Paula Cotten, QuikTrip vice president of finance. Waiving the surcharge on cash withdrawals for member cardholders is an important step in serving the needs of our clientele. Having those bank and credit union members reciprocate by waiving their foreign ATM fees creates an extremely valuable service for the end customer. This will compliment our tremendous growth in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
TransFund ATMs are already located in all QuikTrip locations throughout Oklahoma. QuikTrip is well known as a premiere marketer of motor fuel and convenience store merchandise. The company currently owns and operates 472 retail outlets in nine states.
