During this month, the company conducted mechanical checks and hydraulic tests of the plant equipment and piping and undertook trial operations using waste rock.
Trial processing of low grade ore is expected to be started during the first week of September 2011.
The company said gold production is now expected to begin in the second half of September, provided that the results of these tests do not indicate the need for major adjustments to the plant.
