The company drilled the well to a total depth of 2,387m in 80m of water and one of the three reservoirs encountered tested at 8,500 barrels per day of 40 degrees API oil.
According to Total, this is the second discovery in the lease, following on from the Etisong Main find in 2008.
Total E&P Nigeria operates OML 102 with a 40% interest and its partner NNPC holds the remaining 60% interest.
