Titan Oil & Gas has acquired certain petroleum and natural gas rights to an additional 1,897 acres in the CFB-Suffield region of southern Alberta.
The CFB-Suffield region hosts a number of productive oil pools and is estimated to contain upwards of 1 billion barrels of oil in place.
Titan president Jarnail Dhaddey said that the company is very excited to have acquired significant acreage in one of the most sought-after areas of southern Alberta
Titan’s southern Alberta land package now totals 6,957 acres with projects in the Atlee-Buffalo, Bow Island, Eyremore, Retlaw, CFB-Suffield and Taber regions.
In addition, Titan also owns a 2.51% working interest in an oil well located in Alberta and has acquired interests in two petroleum and natural gas leases in the province of Saskatchewan.
The total area covered by the Saskatchewan leases is 326 acres.
