The agreement will further support standardization of Technip’s document management processes using Tieto’s ProArc solution.

The most important outcome for this agreement is to see standardization of software solution across the entities in Technip’s North Sea Canada (NSC) region where the deployment will begin – this includes Technip’s UK, Norway and Canada offices – yet recognizing that some degree of flexibility is essential.

Through award of this new contract with Technip, Tieto is reinforcing its strong position within the oil and gas industry. Tieto already co-operates with a number of companies in this sector, delivering IT and business transformation, cloud solutions, infrastructure operations, data centre services, hydrocarbon accounting, personnel logistics and POB management.
