The two apartment complexes consists of around 250 individual units and two community laundry areas.
The 225.4kW solar systems will produce an estimated yearly production of 315,148kWh of electricity for both apartment complexes.
The two apartment complexes located in Arcata are owned and managed by Strombeck Properties.
Strombeck Properties owner Steve Strombeck said, "We are extremely grateful for the chance to work with The Solar Company. The solar systems are sized to eliminate 100% of the current electrical bill.
