This project, which is part of a larger investment plan for the refinery, is valued at more than EUR100m (of which Technip‘s share is 20%).
The contract includes debottlenecking of the hydrocracking plant, debottlenecking of the hydrogen unit needed in order to operate the hydrocracker.
This extension will increase hydro-conversion capacity to 10,000 tons per day from the current 8,000 tons thereby enabling the production of more diesel fuel and kerosene.
Technip’s operating center in Paris will execute the contract with support from the group’s Zoetermeer office (Netherlands).
