The field is located in the Keathley Canyon area at a water depth of about 7,000ft.

The contract covers the installation of flexible flowline, flexible gas lift jumpers, subsea distribution units, main gas lift and infield umbilicals, as well as electrical, fiber optic and hydraulic flying leads.

Technip will also design and fabricate the flexible flowline end termination and manufacture and install rigid jumpers, as well as carry out the flooding and hydro-testing of the flowline system.

The company’s operating centre in Texas, US will carry out the overall project management for the project.

Technip will use its Deep Blue deep-water pipelay vessel during the offshore installation phases in 2013 and 2014.
