AES Corp has closed on the sale of its AES Indian Queens Power subsidiary, a 140 MW simple cycle peaking plant located in the UK’s Cornwall to International Power for approximately $60 million.
AES said that after paying existing project debt the sale will result in a net return of approximately $28 million.
