Tammany Oil & Gas has acquired 100% of the membership interest of Cieco Energy Ventures (CEV).
The acquisition of CEV includes interests in 12 non-operated oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tammany president Erich Kraus said this acquisition further diversifies the company’s current holdings and expands its offshore presence.
"We expect to continue our contrarian approach of acquiring and developing oil and gas properties in the Gulf of Mexico Shelf and Gulf Coast areas," Kraus said.
Tammany is an independent oil and natural gas firm and is focused on the acquisition and development of producing properties in the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast area.
