Suntech Power has formed a strategic partnership with solarhybrid to supply nearly 190MW of solar panels in 2011.
As per the deal, the company will provide solar panels for the majority of solarhybrid’s German project pipeline.
Suntech will provide 172MW of solar panels for five power projects being developed by solarhybrid in Germany.
The company will also supply panels for two additional power plants that solarhybrid is currently developing in Italy (10MW) and Slovakia (6MW).
Suntech said the strategic partnership builds on the companies’ collaboration on the 24.2MW Finow Tower I project in Germany in 2010.
Suntech is a manufacturer of solar products for residential, commercial, industrial and utility applications.
solarhybrid is a provider of technical and financial solutions for solar photovoltaic power plants.
