The system has been installed on a canopy structure that provides shade for the roof terrace as well as clean, renewable solar power for the facility.
Masdar City director Alan Frost said that SunPower’s high-efficiency solar panels were selected to maximize the solar power generated by the system and achieve the city’s renewable energy goals.
SunPower has more than 1GW of solar technology installed on homes, businesses and power plants worldwide.
