SunPower has completed the sale of its 13MW Solare Roma solar power plant in Italy to Allianz Renewable Energy Partners IV.
The power plant, located in the municipality of Anguillara, was designed and built by SunPower, which will provide ongoing operations and maintenance services for the new owner.
SunPower chief financial officer Dennis Arriola said that the finalized sale of the Solare Roma power plant, along with SunPower’s recently announced 44MW Montalto di Castro solar park, completes the company’s 2010 plan to develop, construct and monetize 85MW of projects in Italy.
US based SunPower is a designer and manufacturer of solar electric systems.
