The agreement, which will allow Sunbelt to expand its operations to include a centralized waste sterilization processing center within the Southeast region, includes additional recurring consumable orders for the life of the equipment, estimated over 10 years.
The deployment of the MedClean 4500 system will enable Sunbelt to gain waste processing capability and reduce overall operating expenses with a new revenue stream generated from treating other regional haulers’ waste.
MedClean president and CEO David Laky said that Sunbelt represents MedClean’s third sale occurring within a significantly reduced sales cycle timeline since mid-year to a distributor partner which also provides waste transportation services.
"Sunbelt will offer processing services to other regional haulers and will also assist MedClean with regional service support as well as ongoing Preventive Maintenance obligations throughout the southeastern region," Laky said.
