Under the contract, Subsea 7 will engineer, and pre-commission subsea infrastructure to develop the hydrocarbon resources from nine wells.
The field development includes 75km of umbilicals, and 100km o pipeline. It is the first phase of West Nile Delta project in Egypt.
Subsea 7 will manage engineering and project management work from its Global Projects Centre in London, UK, while subsea structures and spools fabrication will be performed at the Petrojet Maadia yard near Alexandria.
Subsea 7 pipelay vessel, Seven Borealis and heavy construction vessel, Seven Arctic will be deployed for offshore installation, which is planned to start in the second half of 2016.
