Under the $75m contact, the company will provide management, engineering, procurement and installation services, and the contract also includes survey activities, tie-in and pre-commissioning activities and other associated services.
Subsea 7 will be responsible for installation of a 7km 9,3” flexible flowline between the Atla and the Bygve Tee on the existing pipeline between Byggve and Heimdal fields.
The company will also install a 7km umbilical between the Atla production guide base (PGB) and the Byggve PGB.
Subsea 7 said it will begin engineering and project management work immediately, with offshore operations due to begin in the second quarter of 2012.
