Both experienced services companies were already on board during the preparatory phase in Bremerhaven. The installation was organized via the base port in Eemshaven. The first Senvion 6.2M126 was installed in Nordsee One early March. Up to now 52 of the 54 Senvion turbines are installed

Both wind energy service provider SSC Wind from Lower-Saxony and REETEC located in Bremen are working with several teams on the completion of the offshore wind farm. Nordsee One is located 40 kilometres far from the North Sea island Juist.

54 Senvion 6.2M126 were gradually transported from Bremerhaven via Eemshaven to the final destination Nordsee One with water depths between 26 and 29 metres. Value creation of this project during installation phase and in operation is concentrated in the North of Germany. Both wind energy service provider represent together over 35 years of wind industry experience.

REETEC provides in total 40 offshore wind employees for this project, many of them are experienced with Senvions technology. The turbine for Nordsee One reaches a maximal height of 152 metres above the lowest tides water level (LAT). The rotor’s diameter of each turbine is 126 metres.

The order should be finalized end of summer 2017. Next to the preparatory phase for the 54 Senvion 6.2M126, the construction and completion are further parts of this scope of work.
