SPML Infra has received new orders for Power Transmission & Distribution projects in West Bengal and Haryana state in India.

-INR 106.92 Crore order from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for Rural Electricity Infrastructure Development in Murshidabad

-INR 89.40 Crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for Extension of 400/220 kV AIS Substation in Malda and other towns of West Bengal

-INR 48.88 Crore from Haryana Vidhyut Prasran Nigam Limited for 220 kV GIS Substation in Faridabad

The INR 106.92 order for Rural Electricity Infrastructure Development for Agricultural Feeder Separation Works is under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana in Murshidabad involves 11 kV transmission lines, new substation, renovation/augmentation of existing 11 kV line and substation and replacement of LT meters to be completed in 24 months’ time.

The INR 89.40 Crore order is for extension of 7 numbers of Substations – 400/220 kV AIS Substation including 2 nos. of 500 MVA ICTs in Malda; 400/220 kV Substation in Durgapur; 400/220 kV Substation in Jeypore; 400/220 kV Substation in Rourkela; 400 kV Substation in Angul; two units of 400 kV Substation in Maithon of both Power Grid and Damodar Valley Corporation under the Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme and all will be completed in 20 months’ time.

The third order of INR 48.88 Crore has received from Haryana Vidhyut Prasaran Nigam Limited for design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 220 kV GIS Substation in Sector 46 in Faridabad, Haryana. Once the work of this GIS Substation is completed in 18 months’ time, the residents of Faridabad will get good quality power supply.
