From 1995 to 1999, Mr Kundert managed the external affairs function at South Western Electricity in Bristol, England, where he served on the first team to manage a Southern Company acquisition in Europe.

Mr Bowers said: With his extensive knowledge of Southern Company and the electric power industry, Glen has long played a key role in cultivating and strengthening our relationships with the Wall Street community. Building on that foundation, this new role enables us to use his skills across an even broader segment of the business.
