Tauber Pipeline is a subsidiary of Tauber Oil Company.
The 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-inch diameter pipelines were formerly owned by the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company (TGP) 4A and 5A systems and were acquired by Tauber.
The company has received TGP’s receipt of abandonment authorization from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Southcross plans to integrate the new pipelines into the company’s existing gathering and intrastate pipeline which will enhance its gas transmissibility.
The company operates more than 2,100 miles of pipeline and gathering assets, two gas processing plants and four gas treating plants.
