Smurfit-Stone will collect recyclable materials delivered to the transfer station from the waste stream, thereby reducing the amount of material which goes to the landfill.
The company, which owns 30 recycling plants in the US, utilizes partnerships and technology to provide recycling and waste management services to retailers, manufacturers, grocers, printers, communities and waste haulers.
