The solar projects, developed in the Town of Prescott Valley, are expected to provide a total of 2.7 million kWh of solar generated power in the first year.

The Town of Prescott Valley is estimated to save about $1.5m in electrical costs over the next 25 years with new solar power projects being built at the town’s water pump stations and the wastewater treatment plant.

Under the terms of a power purchase agreement, Smart Energy Capital will fund all the development costs and sell 100% of the electricity that the four systems generate at a fixed rate per kWh for 25 years.

Smart Energy Capital is engaged in the financing and development of solar energy projects.
