Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has offered six hydro power plants for development. The plants - Aksu, Bayramhacili, Resadiye, Otluca, Zincirli, and Damplapinar - are expected to produce 940MkWh energy annually.

The proposed concession for electricity production is valid for 49 years.

The Turkish State Water Works has so far sent the EPDK 37 projects with a total capacity of 1283MW to be tendered for development. The EPDK has launched seven power plant tenders with a total of 450 MW capacity since March 2005.
