Diamond core holes drilled over a 3km length confirmed DSO grades with similar thickness and grade as identified in early drilling at Deposit C.
Sherwin said it had reported high grade rock chip sampling results within this area and at several other locations at Mt Scott in 2011.
Better intersections included 1m at 63% iron from 4m, 1.25m at 58.7% iron from 3.25m, and 1m at 60% iron from 12.25m.
An extensive reverse circulation (RC) drilling program is now required to assess potential for a DSO resource that could lead to a future mining operation.
