<p>Lot 11 of Yukos&#0039; assets had an opening bid of RUB154 billion and was comprised of stakes in 28 Russian oil enterprises. These included 100% of oil and gas production company Samaraneftegaz, which produced 9.3 million tonnes of crude oil and 287.4 million cubic meters of natural and associated gas in 2006. <br /><br />Rosneft also received 100% of the Kuibyshev, Novokuibyshev and Syzran refineries, as well as 100% of the Novokuibyshev oils and additives plant. <br /><br />In addition, Rosneft acquired various stakes in a group of gas refining and oil product marketing companies that have refining capabilities, service station networks and tank farms located throughout Russia&#0039;s central federal district. <br /><br />The company said that these assets include 98.1% of the Neftegorsk gas processing plant and the Otradnoye gas processing plant and 100% of Samaranefteprodukt and the Samara Terminal. <br /><br />Rosneft said that the acquisitions will accelerate improvements in the company&#0039;s operational and financial performance, as a result of improved vertical integration, resulting earnings growth particularly from the attractive downstream market in Russia, and benefits of scale.</p>
