Rite Track, Inc. (Rite Track), a US based semiconductor equipment company, has appointed John Noyes as new chief technical officer (CTO). Since 2006, Noyes has served as director of product marketing for the company. He joined the company in 2004 as senior marketing manager. Prior to Rite Track, he was the senior product marketing manager for ASML Track Division, managing a staff of engineers and acting as the technical consultant for Scanner/Track productivity improvements.

Rite Track chief executive officer Tim Hayden stated, “John has over 25 years of in-depth industry experience and is uniquely qualified to fulfill this role. He is recognized as one of the few experts in the market that possess comprehensive technical and applications knowledge of both Tracks and Litho equipment. His constant interaction with our customers, partners and members of our sales team make him an integral part of our company. This position properly reflects the value he brings to our organization.”

John Noyes has worked in the Semiconductor Industry since 1983, holding various applications and product management positions at key semiconductor companies such as SVG and ASML. Prior to ASML’s acquisition of SVG, John Noyes filled various product management roles in his 12 year tenure with SVG, rising to director of product marketing for the Track System Division. Prior to SVG, Noyes worked for General Signal’s Semiconductor Systems Unit in product management and applications roles. His technical background includes training from the U.S. Navy in Electronics Technology and from Arizona State University in Chemistry.
