Technyl A 60G1 V25, designed specifically for junction boxes, conform to various certifications with regard to its weatherability, electrical and mechanical ageing performance, flammability properties and processing behavior for thin walled PV connector applications.
The new Technyl flame-retarded range will contribute to the continuing improvements in PV technology to preserve non-renewable resources through the generation of electricity from solar energy.
Rhodia global business director of fire resistance Robert Monti said that Technyl flame-retarded polyamides provide all the necessary requirements to move the PV industry to the next level, enabling companies to produce PV components on a new industrial scale.
