The approval allows the company to install the wind turbines with a tip height of up to 125m on the site after discharge of planning conditions.
The company said it expects to commence construction of this project in its next financial year.
REG CEO Andrew Whalley said that the company will move forward with the discharge of planning conditions as speedily as possible in order to start project construction.
REG’s main business is the development, construction and operation of wind farms in the UK and generating power from refined used cooking oil.
