PLH Group has formed a new company, Edison Power Constructors, to deliver infrastructure services in the areas of electric transmission, substation, and distribution.

Edison Power based in Phoenix, Arizona, will concentrate on expanding its capabilities and market position in the Western US power market.

The company in a statement said that Edison will be a separate operating unit of PLH.

PLH president and CEO Mark Crowson said the new company will expand PLH’s electric transmission service offerings and complements the existing transmission and distribution construction business in North America.

"Edison builds on our existing capabilities to perform electric transmission and distribution construction services across North America to serve the needs of our customers," Crowson added.

This apart, PLH has named Mike Stefanik as the president of Edison to oversee all responsibilities for the company’s work in the electric power industry.
