The license, valid until July 29, 2014, will facilitate Transportadora Associada de Gas SA, Petrobras’ subsidiary to operate the facility.
In May 2009, Maria das Gracas Silva Foster, Petrobras gas and energy director, said the company is planning to conclude the construction of its third LNG terminal by January 2013. The capacity of the LNG plant is expected to reach 20 million cubic meters per day of gas.
