The recycling program was launched by Act 101 of 1988, the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act.
“This grant program continues to provide vital environmental funds to ensure that Monroe County and its residents continue to do a great job in recycling the waste they generate,” said Rep. Mario Scavello (R-Monroe).
