Drilling intersected an igneous intrusion which accounts for the botanical anomaly while the magnetic and gravity profiles as well as the trace element results obtained over the feature.
The company has completed core drilling at the GK6 geobotanical anomaly and has begun drilling at a new 20+ h kimberlite target.
Pangolin chairman Dr. Leon Daniels said, "However, Pangolin has identified numerous kimberlite targets in Botswana and our exploration in Jwaneng South and our three other Project areas continues with intensity."
More than 20 drill-ready kimberlite targets indentified, whith 5 are estimated to be greater than 20h in size, in Jwaneng South mine.
Located 50km south of the Jwaneng mine, the Jwaneng South project was discovered in 1972 and is operated by Debswana, a joint-venture company between DeBeers and Botswana.
