The CWDP is planning to recommend total 51 developmental projects worth PKR56.755 billions with FEC worth PKR2.016 billion.
Deputy Chairman Planning Commission, Sardar Asef Ahmad Ali will preside the meeting in projects for 13 sectors consisting of transport and communication, water resources, agriculture and food, forestry and wildlife, energy, physical planning and Housing (PP&H), Industry and Commerce, devolution and area development, education, Higher Education Commission (HEC), labor and manpower, governance and health.
The CDWP can only approve projects costing up to PKR500 million and the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) must approve the projects above this limit.
The CDWP agenda indicates that the transport and communication sector has 16 projects worth PKR15.065 billion with FEC PKR566.840 million. The water resources have 12 projects worth PKR8.844 billion with PKR62.1 million FEC.
Energy sector consists of six projects (including three hydropower projects explained above) with total cost of PKR22.506 billion with PKR10.844 billion as FEC. The PP&H has three projects with total cost of PKR928.866 million.
Industry and commerce sector has two projects worth PKR615.036 million. Devolution & Area Development and Education sectors have single project worth PKR125.195 million and PKR125.590 million, respectively.
The CDWP agenda further reveals that the HEC has two development projects with total cost of PKR2.105 billion with PKR 394.416 million FEC.
