The companies claim that the agreement expands their relationship, providing Owens Corning, with access to a substantially wider network of builders and homeowners through Masco’s position in the US.
The agreement will also serve as a catalyst to impact energy efficiency through sharing of building science knowledge and the pursuit of opportunities to collaboratively shape and advance energy policy legislation and standards.
The partnership between Owens Corning and Masco Contractor Services provides builders with broader access to an integrated portfolio of insulation products that are both energy-efficient and deliver value, and these products include Owens Corning’s EcoTouch and EnergyComplete insulating solutions.
Masco president and CEO Timothy Wadhams said that the collaboration throughout the supply chain will create efficiencies in logistics, lower working capital, consistent supply, and better service for its customers.
