REG Powr Management announces that compnay has increased their asset management services for John Laing Environmental Assets Group (JLEN) with the addition of 32 wind turbines (50.1MW) operating across three projects.

This places us as a leading supplier of asset management services to JLEN.

The three new sites are Bilsthorpe in Newark (10.25MW), Hall Farm in Yorkshire (24.6MW) and Carscreugh in Dumfries & Galloway (15.3MW).

The contract includes full asset management services to maximise electricity production, minimise downtime and reduce operating and maintenance costs, underpinned by a strong commitment to health & safety.

This announcement is the latest in a series of new asset management contracts for us, following contracts signed with BlackRock to manage 34MW of wind and 63MWp of ground- mounted solar PV assets late last year.

Steve Higman, Head of Operating Projects said “We are delighted to expand our existing services to JLEN. As an owner of renewable energy projects, REG’s philosophy is focussed on overall asset governance, ensuring that we manage projects as if they were our own”.

Simon Wannop, Commercial Director said “This reflects a growing portfolio for REG Asset Management, which now has 28 wind, 16 solar and four bio-power projects under management across the UK, taking the total managed capacity to nearly 400MW.”
