Mr Cook takes on what is a new post following a restructure of the networks division. He joins Ofgem from the Energy and Utilities Consulting Practice of PA Consulting Group. He has a wide experience of the utilities industry gained from work with the industry players over the past 18 years.
He was an adviser to the industry during the first transmission price control and led the design of commercial arrangements for the competitive Scottish retail market. Most recently, he has been working with Ofgem’s markets division on wholesale and retail policy.
