Recently, Numeric Power Systems has formed a fully-owned subsidiary, Numeric Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. to offer these products.
The fabrication plant located near Chennai has 96 kWp of solar power generation system while the transformer and stabilizer plant at the same location has installed solar panels for generating 20.16 kWp.
Besides, Numeric Power Systems has plants at Salem for 9.6 kWp of solar power. It is also implementing a project for 100.8 kWp in the same location.
K. V. Nachiappan, a director of Numeric Power Systems said that the company was planning to develop megawatt (MW) range of solar power systems within the wind energy farm already owned by it in Palladam, near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
