Under the contract, the company will be responsible for installing 12 turbines including seven N100/3300s and five N90/2500s turbines at the Glencarbry wind farm.
Nordex will begin delivering the turbines in October this year.
Scheduled to enter service in 2017, the proposed 35MW wind farm is expected to produce 118GW of clean electricity annually.
John Laing renewable energy managing director Ross McArthur said: "Glencarby is an important investment for John Laing Group and we’re pleased that for the first time the turbines for one of our projects are being supplied and maintained by Nordex.
"We’re looking forward to seeing the project fully operational in early 2017 and to the prospect of working together and delivering further projects with Nordex in the future."
The project is being financed by Nord/LB.
Nord/LB Europe energy managing director Heiko Ludwig said: "We are very pleased to have been able to support our client John Laing Group with structuring the non-recourse debt package for the Glencarby project as well as providing the financing for a project using Nordex turbine technology in the Irish market."
Nordex will also service the turbines for a period of 15 years, under a premium service contract with John Laing.
The company plans to increase its installed capacity in Ireland to more than 700MW.
Nordex has recently won orders from wpd to supply 14 wind turbine generators totaling 33.6MW.
