The MOU was signed by Shri Pradeep Kumar Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India and Shri K.M. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC in the presence of senior dignitaries from Ministry of Power and NHPC.
In the signed MOU for NHPC, generation target under excellent rating has been set as 23500 MU as against last year target of 22000 MU. Excellent Target for Revenue from Operations is Rs.7300crores and Operating Profit as Rs. 2000 crores.
Further to ensure optimum utilization of budget CAPEX programme of NHPC has been assigned 15% weightage in the MOU 2016-17. In addition, targets regardingIncrease in Plant Availability Factor, reduction in Auxiliary Power Consumption, Reduction in Forced Outage, Reduction in outstanding claims, Trade Receivables, Dividend/PAT, PAT/Net Worth, Project Implementation parameters etc. have also been included.
