The value of the contract is GBP7m.

The company is already working as the engineering, procurement, and construction provider for the project’s living quarters platform.

Sembmarine is scheduled to deliver the living quarters platform along with the Bridge and Flare Structures in May 2014.

The bridge structure spans about 70m and weighs 550 ton, while the Flare is 70m long and weighs 225 ton.

Bridge structure will provide personnel and services access between the PUQ Platform and the Drilling Platform.

Sembmarine managing director Paul Thomson said the contract provides the company a step towards growth and continuity for its business.

The Golden Eagle Area Development project includes development of the Golden Eagle and Peregrine fields, located in blocks 20/1, 20/1N and 14/26a of the North Sea.
