Yesterday, the Standing Committee on Economics expressed support for MP N.Batbayar’s proposal to accuse certain payments to uranium license holders.
The Asian country, Mongolia has 146 uranium exploration and two mining licenses that are detained by 24 companies operating in 15 provinces. Most of these licenses are entirely owned by foreign companies and a few of them in joint ventures with Mongolian ventures.
