Changes in the organisational structure of Swedish construction group Skanska have been completed, according to the group’s three-monthly report.

The group aims to maintain a tight focus on its core activities in the future and to that end it has divested its holdings in some property management companies and in Sandvik. It has also reorganised its construction and construction-related businesses into geographically focused business areas: Skanska Sweden; Skanska Europe; and Skanska US. In the US, the company has added to its portfolio by acquiring three construction and civil engineering companies from the Hansen Group. The companies are Tidewater Construction, Nielsens and CDK Contracting.
