Taiwan-based Neo Solar Power (NSP), a producer of solar cells, has signed a three-year wafer supply contract with GCL-Poly, a polysilicon and wafer supplier.

Under terms of the contract, GCL will provide 350MW of solar wafers to NSP from the fourth quarter of 2010 to the end of 2013, and the contract further consolidated the long-term strategic relationships between both sides.

This long-term cooperation sustains both companies on production capacity and business operation, leading to significant expansion on global presence.

NSP chairman Quincy Lin said that by signing this wafer supply contract with GCL, NSP strengthens its long-term partnership with GCL and stabilizes material supply and hence able to support incoming orders and capacity expansion accordingly.
